There’s a big effort underway at Acrolinx to improve our underlying platform technology. This means we’ll be phasing out a number of legacy technologies and solution configurations.
The changes require us to migrate all of our customers to a standard stack by September 30, 2020. We’ve started this process with a select group of customers, and it’s been a very positive experience so far.
The “Tech” Stuff Starts Here.
After October 1, 2020, the Acrolinx Platform will run in two distinct environments:
- First, we’ll offer all of our customers the chance to move any on-premise environments to an Acrolinx Private Cloud. They can then avoid the built-in IT overhead that comes with running and maintaining the platform on-premise (server updates, OS patches, Acrolinx Guidance, and version updates, and so on).
- We’re conscious that a move to our Private Cloud simply isn’t an option for all of our customers. So in those cases, we’ll offer a second option. A Linux-based, on-premise standard stack will be available for any customers that have policies that prevent a cloud-hosted deployment.
You can find more details on both scenarios here:
Great, So What Happens Now?
Customer Success Managers will connect with all of our customers to discuss each installation individually.
