Solution

We've created a license file and guidance package for your platform that will update the license expiry date and allow the module to continue to function normally.

Acrolinx Version 5.2 - 2019.04

The Attached License (jslc.dat) Must Be Manually Installed.

Linux/Unix:

The license file should be placed at the location shown below, and overwrite the existing license file:

<USER_HOME>/.config/Acrolinx/ServerConfiguration<VERSION_NUMBER>/data/report/overwrite/bin

Restart the Analytics Server.

In the Acrolinx Dashboard Navigate to Servers > Analytics Server and click Restart Server.
The ...\overwrite\bin\ directory isn't available in a default installation. This path needs to be created before the license file can be placed in the \bin\ directory.

Windows:

The license file should be placed at the location shown below, and overwrite the existing license file:

C:\ProgramData\Acrolinx\ServerConfiguration\data\report\overwrite\bin

Restart the Analytics Server.

In the Acrolinx Dashboard Navigate to Servers > Analytics Server and click Restart Server.
The ...\overwrite\bin\ directory isn't available in a default installation. This path needs to be created before the license file can be placed in the \bin\ directory.

Acrolinx Version  2019.05 -  2019.10

Please contact support at  support@acrolinx.com  or our support portal and submit a ticket with the subject 'Analytics Update' in the ticket. Please specify if you would prefer an updated guidance package or the latest platform version.  Once submitted our support team will place the update on your secure download site at which point it will need to be deployed yo your production and test environments. Once the Update or Guidance is delivered, we'll remove your organization from further communication related to this update.

If the file isn't installed before November 15 2019,  you won’t lose any data, however the analytics module won't produce reports until the guidance package or Update is deployed.
