If you have categories that are organized hierarchically, you can configure the Terminology Manager to display all category fields in a tree view. This is useful if you have complex hierarchical data structures that might be difficult to view in a standard field view. The tree view for category-based fields is similar to the tree view used on the category manager page.
By default, category-based fields have a standard list view. For example, below you can see that the category non-term contains two subcategories, stopword and no-single-term.
In the tree view, the hierarchical relationships between categories are easier to see. You can expand and collapse categories that contain subcategories.

Save your changes and restart the core server.Important: There are currently two usability issues to consider when configuring the tree view. First, the tree view is currently not available for category-based fields that appear in the term import wizard. Secondly, a category-based field can obscure the OK button in the filter menu when the tree view is fully expanded.
