Install Acrolinx on Windows

When you install Acrolinx, you use separate installers for the Core Platform and the guidance package.

To install Acrolinx for the first time, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Install the Core Platform.

  2. Install the guidance package files for Acrolinx.

  3. Request and install the license.
  4. Configure the connection to external databases.

    You need to connect to external database servers for terminology, analytics, and reporting data. That means you’ll need to set up three databases, one for terminology, which stores your terms, one for analytics, which runs your Analytics Dashboards and one for reporting, which stores your checking data.
