Get Started with the Content Analyzer

Where's my Content Analyzer?

Mac

If you've installed the Content Analyzer correctly, you should see the green Acrolinx icon  under applications. You might not see it straight away if you already have many applications installed.

Windows

If you've installed the Content Analyzer correctly, you should see the green Acrolinx icon  as a shortcut on your Desktop and in your start menu. You might not see it straight away if your start menu is already crowded.

Linux

You can open the Content Analyzer via Applications, just double-click the green Acrolinx icon  there. You'll also find the Content Analyzer in your opt folder. To open the Content Analyzer there, double-click Acrolinx Content Analyzer.


Sign in to Acrolinx

When you open the Acrolinx Content Analyzer for the first time, you might need to sign in. If you need to sign in, you'll see the following message:

To sign in to Acrolinx, follow these steps:

  1. Enter your Acrolinx URL in the Acrolinx URL field.

  2. Click SIGN IN to open the Acrolinx Sign-in page in a browser.
  3. If prompted, enter your username and password.
  4. Click CONFIRM to allow the Content Analyzer to access your Acrolinx account.

  5. You'll see a confirmation that you've successfully signed in.

  6. Return to the Content Analyzer. You're now signed in, and can begin checking your content!

Change Your Acrolinx URL

You can change your Acrolinx URL by signing out and signing in again. Sign out from the User Profile page.
